ETI has developed its own solution for the In-line protection of photovoltaic modules against reverse currents. The solution is in cylindrical gPV fuse-links with crimp caps which are designed for direct crimping PV conductors with a corresponding crimping tool. Crimp connection allows connecting PV conductors cross-section from 4 to 6 mm2. Fuse-links are developed according to the IEC 60269-6, UL 248-19 and meet all In-line requirements.

Introducing a new line of medium-voltage fuses VV with low minimum breaking currents, high breaking capacity up to 63 kA, two types of striker pins: 50N and 80 N (with integrated temperature dependent limiter) and reliable sealing system against humidity irruption. VV fuses are used to protect distribution transformers, high-voltage motors, high-voltage capacitors, voltage transformers...

A new generation of photovoltaic cylindrical fuse-links with nominal currents up to 32A and rated voltage up to 1500V is now available, with gPV characteristic for protection of solar panels against the reverse current. New fuse-links have a lower power dissipation and higher breaking capacity up to 50 kA. Size 10/14x85 has a patented design for interrupting in case of short circuit conditions.
